Already have Calq Pro on iPhone?

Your subscription works on Mac too — no extra charge. Sign in with the same Apple ID, open Preferences, tap Restore Purchases. Done.

Built for how you actually use a calculator.

⌘⌥C

Always a keystroke away.

Hit your global shortcut from any app. Type your calculation. Press Enter. Copy the result. Back to work.

🏷️

Every number has a label.

Hours, rate, tax, tip. Ruled-paper style. Come back an hour later and you'll remember what the numbers meant.

Reuse any result.

Drag a result to pull it into a later block. Change the source — everything downstream recalculates live.

Restore your Pro subscription on Mac

1

Install Calq on your Mac.

Download from the Mac App Store, using the same Apple ID you use for your iPhone.

2

Open Calq's Preferences.

Click the Q icon in the menu bar → click the menu → Preferences. Or press ⌘,.

3

Tap Restore Purchases.

Calq will check the Mac App Store for your existing subscription and unlock Pro. Takes a second.

4

Done.

Pro stays active as long as your iPhone subscription does. No extra payment, no new subscription on Mac.

Questions

Do I pay twice for Pro?

No. Calq uses Apple's "Universal Purchase" — your Pro subscription works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac with the same Apple ID. One payment, all devices.

Does Calq sync between iPhone and Mac?

Right now, no — Mac v1.0 is a standalone menu bar calculator. Sheets you make on Mac stay on Mac. iCloud sync is on the roadmap for v1.1.

Why a menu bar app instead of a regular app?

Because you already have a Dock full of real apps. A calculator should be there when you need it and invisible when you don't. The menu bar is the perfect home.

Can I change the keyboard shortcut?

Yes. Open Preferences → General → Global Shortcut. Pick from common options or disable it entirely and use the menu bar icon.

Does it work on Intel Macs?

Yes, any Mac running macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer. Built as a Universal Binary for Apple Silicon and Intel.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet. It's on the roadmap. Sign up at usecalq.com to be notified when it launches.
